The Problem

     In US society today, the study of ESL (English as a Second Language) education is growing. Much research has been done in regards to teaching children and college students to speak English, but there is minimal research on teaching adults. There is also quite a bit of conflict on which practices are the best practices. 


     This website takes an interdisciplinary approach to analyzing one of the techniques currently used for teaching ESL: the use of drama activities as a tool for teaching the “whole” adult ESL learner.
